[k]ein podcast: A Week That Had It All

This episode covers a whole week, and it was a full one. It started in Wetzlar, at Leica. The gallery celebrated its 50th anniversary, alongside the Wim Wenders exhibition we already told you about here. From there we drove straight on to Munich, right into the night. We arrived at four in the morning, with the film festival already on our minds before our bodies had even noticed a new day had begun.

The 43rd Filmfest München has a lot to offer, and we wanted to take in as much of it as possible. The Creators Conference was on the schedule, along with the opening of the festival itself. And in the middle of it all, an evening that only happens in Munich. Weißwurst with Regina Ziegler, at the Bayerischer Hof. An appointment that brings tradition and the industry together in a very relaxed way.

The heart of the week was the „Servus München” party at the Bavaria Studios, where we were responsible for social media, livestreams and production as official partner. 1,500 guests, a twelve-hour workday, and in the end an evening that ran exactly as we had planned it. After that it kept going, with a new Super Party and the Any Films afterparty. And since a film festival is always a film festival, this time there is a real recommendation. „23,000 Lives” on Netflix, about the people of Jugend Rettet and the lives they saved. A film that stays with you.
