“Du, ich und wir” is about Leo, who scrapes a living from small drug deals and
holes up in his caravan at a campsite. One day Mina moves onto the site with her
six-year-old son Ronni, his ex, whom he hasn’t seen in years. Out of the chance
reunion, what Mina has long kept to herself slowly comes to light: Ronni is
Leo’s son too.
The film takes its time with what goes unsaid between the two: anger and
guilt, with an afternoon at the lake where the three of them look, for a moment,
like a family, and with the question of whether Leo is ready to take
responsibility. It was shot in autumn 2024 at a campsite on the Elbe.
